Something Wicked This Way…Digs

Something Wicked This Way...Digs

Something tried to dig into the little girls’ coop last night. We’ve seen other scratchings and holes, but these are too close to the chickies. Olde Dog and his Man had buried welded wire horizontally out to four feet all around the coops and the runs.

The first hole near the coop was stopped by the wire that comes down from the run and out six or so inches. There is an overlap of the wires that makes it especially hard to dig much of a hole at all. The second hole is deeper and you can see it is squared and contained by the wire.

Olde Dog’s Man put a lot of thought into preventing predators from getting into the coops. Smart man!
