Here's Looking at You, Kid

When Olde Dog and His Man walk to the road from the house and back, the baby red shoulder hawks let them know they are being delinquent in their hawk feeding duties.

Today, Mama brought her babies a nice mouse. Yum! (I suppose) They peeked over the nest to be sure Man got the point. Food.

There are three baby hawks – two are peeking and the third is stretching it wings. Look for the wingman on the left. Or the right side of the other two. Oh, just look around.

    Mama hawk has finally become used to us and will fly to and from the nest with us and even ol’ dog around. She and they are fine as long as they don’t think chicken is on the menu.
