Living in the Country

Living in the Country

Our country chicks have a country duplex. The big chicks are residing in the big coop, and the little chicks have the little coop. Their play yards are connected but separated with wire fencing with a sliding panel for access between the two. When the little chicks get bigger, we’ll let them have play dates. Meanwhile, they can get used to seeing and hearing each other with no pecking.

It’s a hot afternoon. Joanna, Eva, and Leah are taking a siesta while Ruth looks for bugs. Ninja and Sarah are watching in case something interesting happens. Lydia is getting a sip of water. Life is good, especially in the country!
