The Formosa azalea is spreading out her best party dress in all its finery for everyone to admire. I stand at the living room window and enjoy watching her dance as the wind sways her branches and ruffles her petals. Party on!
I thought she was a Hibiscus, even though the leaves were wrong. But then a dear friend pointed out that she is a Formosa Azalea. Lesson learned for me: check IDs at the door.
