Garden Good Guys

Garden Good Guys

The Southern Fence Lizard with its wavy bands looks different than the Florida Green Anole.

The Green Anole eats crickets, cockroaches, moths, grubs, beetles, flies and grasshoppers. The Southern Fence Lizard eats most insects including spiders, centipedes and snails but beetles in particular. I am not really fond of cockroaches, grubs, beetles, flies, spiders, centipedes or snails.

Anything that eats any of the above bugs, but most especially cockroaches and beetles is welcome to our South Garden Al Fresco Diner. No reservations required.

Lizards are great unless they want to chomp on tomatoes on the vine.

They better remember they are bug-avores!
