Slumber Party

Slumber Party

It’s the Big Girls first night in the Chick Coop. They pecked grass, bugs, and sand and played chase all afternoon. Olde Dog got in trouble for trying to play chase, too.

The Big Girls have their heat lamp aka night light that is glowing through the windows. They were snuggled around their dear thermometer that they’ve had since they were babies. If you look closely at the bottom of the window on the left, you will see their new chicky monitor, originally intended for someone who is no longer a baby but a big ole toddler.

And so the sun sets while the Olde Dog and his Man listen to the peeps – and was that a cluck? – as the Girls settle in.

Good night, moon. Good night, chickies.
