Seems a Little Chilly

The chicks are two and a half weeks old now. The temperature is supposed to be lowered by 5 degrees every week, but they don’t seem to approve of this latest drop to 85°.

Joanna, Leah, and Eva are checking the thermometer. Ruth would like the access key to the thermostat. Except that isn’t a thermostat, it’s another temperature sensor. But if it makes Ruth happy to peck on the black box for more heat, then fine. It’s a thermostat. Or a way to signal the building superintendent. Whatever works, Ruth, right?
