After two days of dry camping -not at a campground with utilities – and carefully conserving water, a hot shower is a much appreciated luxury.

After two days of dry camping with uncomfortable humid, sticky nights, a developing awareness of those who sleep in the open air with insects biting and no locked door for security.

After two days of dry camping but waking up to perking coffee with the limited electricity amps, a realization of our dependency on electricity.

It was only two days. Dear Lord, bless your children who don’t have running hot water, safe shelter, or electricity.
